Im Sommer 2019 haben Mitglieder des Fotoclubs ObjektivArt’96 zwei Fototouren auf dem UNESCO Welterbe Zollverein in Essen unternommen. Die Zeche Zollverein, seinerzeit auch „Eiffelturm des Ruhrgebietes“ genannt, war in dem Zeitraum 1851 bis 1986 eines der aktiven Bergwerke in Essen. Ein Teil der entstandenen Fotografien geben in der gezeigten Ausstellung die besondere Sicht der Fotografinnen und Fotografen auf die stillgelegte Industrieanlage wieder. Dabei stehen weniger die klassischen Frontalansichten sondern mehr die kleinen Details oder besondere fotografische Sichten im Focus der Ausstellung.
Der Verein freut sich über die Genehmigung der Stiftung Zollverein, die Werke in den Clubräumen des Fotoclubs ObjektivArt’96 einer breiten Öffentlichkeit präsentieren zu können.
